Morgan was featured in a Safe Sex for Men and Women informational video on AIDS education and Prevention. Some of the proceeds went to the American Foundation for AIDS Research. She is part of the Entertainment Industry's AIDS Task Force. Morgan was the primary driver behind many fund-raising campaigns for the disease. She also spoke before an Congressional special committee that focused on AIDS education. She is a member of the Board of Governors of APLA along with Amfar. Former Surgeon-General C. Everett Koop has asked her on occasion to fill in for him in AIDS events and she has been the host of an AIDS Awareness Special featuring anchorman Steve Bell. Morgan has been on Nightline together with Ted Koppell regarding AIDS. Morgan is nominated as the Emmy award winner in Diane English's Murphy Brown Special Episode written especially for Morgan. In spring, she co-starred alongside Joan Rivers in ABC television's Your Money or Your Wife. The summer was kicked off with Murder At The PTA Luncheon. Productions like Von Zerneck/Sertner, also featured Cindy Williams and Marla Gabbs. The second part of the project took Morgan to Luxembourg in which she appeared as Sherlock Holmes and the Leading Lady in the production of Harmony Gold. Christopher Lee and Patrick McNee were also on the set. Morgan was also a part of an action-packed psychological thriller created exclusively by USA Network. This thriller garnered the best ratings of all time for that network.
